It is important for the client to feel the need for growth. The initial meetings
are to brief the client about the scope of activities of the consultant. During
these initial meetings the consultant also educates the client how the system
would work for the client. The client then proceeds to evaluate the effectiveness
of the system for himself. Thereupon both parties enter into a contract for the
consultancy. These consultancy services
are not by way of Soft Skills Training. They are meant to identify individual
and group personality traits, compulsive behaviours, inability to control situations,
inhibitions under certain conditions which are preventing the organisation to
grow unhindered. Individual
Consultancy Services - Long Term
These services are offered to individuals who want growth of their businesses.
Proprietary firms and businesses would come under this category. The Business
Owner as person has a deep impact on the structure, format and the way the business
runs. An analysis of the problems - human, operational, financial, interpersonal
et al - being faced in the organisation are noted and the reasons for the problems
are presented to the client. A gradual process of change on part the educated
client starts showing on the business performance. As the process proceeds, goal
setting, team building, financial structuring, honing leadership skills and such
other needs are addressed. In this phase notable growth in the business is observed.
We then move to the last phase of working upward growth on the firm foundation
that has been established. In this phase selected individuals are mentored to
fall in line with the philosophy of the organisation.
Term of Consultancy: The consultant is engaged for a period of three years.
It takes four to six weeks for the client to accept the consultancy. There are
weekly meetings in the first phase of the Consultancy. This phase lasts about
six months. The second phase lasts about a year. During this phase meetings are
once a fortnight or once in three weeks. In the last phase the consultant is available
for guidance / mentoring on need basis. This phase lasts a year and a half.
Fees: 52 + 26 + 12 = 90 In all ninety meetings are considered over a three year period. Consultancy services are computed at Rs. 3 to 5 Lakhs
Individual
Consultancy Services - Long Term
Three to five session consultancy is considered in this category. These sessions are for addressing specific problems faced by the client.
Fees: Fees are charged at Rs. 3000 per session. Usually not more than three sessions are necessary for addressing and evolving a solution for one problem .
Organisational Consultancy Services
The Organisational Business Head enters into a dialogue with the consultant to evaluate what good the service can do to the organisation in the Management, Production, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR aspects of the organisation. The Head then affords the consultant to interact with all the second line of command individuals or the functional heads, as the case may be, in the organisation for them to understand the role of the consultant and for the consultant to understand what problems exist in the organisation. Once the Business Head and all his associates agree that the Consultant can contribute to the integration and growth of the organisation, the Consultant and the organisation enter into a contract for a 3 year retention. In the first phase the Consultant enters into individual personal dialogue with the Business head and each of the other team leaders. During this phase the role of the consultant and that of each of the participants is clearly defined. Then as in the case of the Individual Consultancy Service the reasons for the blocks are revealed to the client and the members individually and collectively effect changes. By the time the second phase dawns the organisation has already started showing strides in its growth patterns.
Fees: 150 + 75 + 35 = 260 In all 260 meetings are considered over a three year period. Consultancy Fees are computed at Rs. 7.5 - 10 Lakhs.
Some important life skills training programmes can also be offered to staff for them to gel well with the changed attitude of the management.
